A Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Chief Benjamin Ezeweputa says the sixteen years of APGA Government has brought robust transformation in Anambra State

Speaking to the ABS on the achievements of APGA Government as the November sixth Governorship election draws near, Chief Ezeweputa said that successive APGA administrations  have  changed the negative impression the international Community had in the past about Anambra State when it was hitherto known as a pariah State

Chief Ezeweputa listed the construction of the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport at Umueri in Anambra East Local Government Area, the ongoing construction of an international conference center in Awka as well as the upgrade of Awka stadium as a major legacy projects of the APGA Government through Governor Willie Obiano.

He said that the regular payment of Workers salary and pension to retirees and human capacity development are some of the Government avowed commitment aimed at improving the living standards of the people especially the workers.

Chief Ezeweputa who expressed optimism that the standard bearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA for the November sixth Governorship election Professor Chukwuma Soludo will continue from where Governor Willie Obiano will stop called on Anambra electorate to vote for APGA in next Month’s Governorship election for continuity

On the recent threat by the Attorney general of the federation and Minister of Justice Malam Abubakar Malami SAN that the Federal Government might declared a state of emergency on Anambra over insecurity, Chief Ezeweputa described the statement as uncalled for.

He regretted the desperate plans of those who want to become Governor at all costs and charged the Anambra electorate not to be intimidated reminding them of the need to come out en-mase on Saturday November sixth to exercise their franchise
