As the November six gubernatorial election draws closer, APGA faithful in Abatete, Idemili North Local Government Area have initiated ward level review meeting geared towards gaining one hundred percent support for the party.

The meeting, coming ahead of the fast-approaching governorship election in the state, was to enable party members in the area draw out a plan for APGA’s victory at the poll.


Speaking during the interaction, the Director General of APGA Campaign Council and Secretary to the Government of Anambra State, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, expressed happiness with the massive solidarity accorded the party ahead of the November poll, and reminded them that the Willie Obiano administration has, in its totality, been fair to the community with massive appointments to show representation in government, urging the electorate in the area to neglect naysayers and vote for the best candidate.

Professor Chukwulobelu also re-emphasised that the symbol of the party replicates the identity of Ndị Igbo which everyone rallyround to sustain instead of joining other political identities that do not mean well for the people of the region.


On his part, the convener of the event, Engineer Godwin Anyaegbunnam, said that having critically evaluated Professor Chukwuma Soludo’s overwhelming records and experience, alongside the achievements of the APGA leadership, he came to the conclusion that both hold the most outstanding records that can safeguard the future of the state, and asked other communities to vote for the best and not let their conscience be swindled by desperate persons.

For the APGA woman Leader in Abatete, Mrs Chika Okafor, the womenfolk in the area had in the past collectively mobilized support for the Willie Obiano leadership, and has now also embarked on massive endorsement of Professor Soludo as his successor.

On their part, the Vice President of Abatete Youths, Comrade Frank Ezigbo and another respondent from the area, Chief Peter Eze, testified to the quality leadership that APGA has enthroned and expressed assurance that the good deeds would continue after Professor Soludo mounts the leadership podium of the state come November 6 gubernatorial election.


At the kick off of the event, over seven decampees from an opposition political party in the area were welcomed as full members of APGA.
