Wife of the governor of Anambra State, Dr. Ebelechukwu Obiano has said that the choice of Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the next governor of the state is the best.

Dr. Mrs. Obiano stated this while addressing people from Onitsha North and South in continuation of her tour of local government areas of the state.

The tour is a humanitarian program designated under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Children and Women Affairs, Anambra State in collaboration with the Caring Family Enhancement Initiative, CAFE, a charity organization founded by Dr. Mrs. Obiano in August, 2014.

Correspondent Daniel Ezeigwe  reports that according to her, Professor Soludo possesses the best of what it takes to govern Anambra State, noting that his pedigree has been tested on high levels.

While stating that Professor Soludo’s aspiration to become the next governor of the state is divinely ordained and will be fulfilled, Dr. Mrs. Obiano noted that the Supreme Court’s verdict, which validated Professor Soludo’s candidacy is a testament to the fact that APGA will win the November sixth election in Anambra State.

In her speech, the wife of APGA candidate for the November sixth governorship election, Mrs. Nonye Soludo assured that she would accommodate all Anambra women in her scheme of work, knowing fully well the important role they play in governance and the society at large.

On her part, the member representing Onitsha South Constituency Two at the state Assembly, Honourable Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche said that the governor’s wife has defied social status and sacrificed her life for the common people, noting that her good heart has been felt across the state and beyond for the past seven years.

The commissioner for Social Welfare, Children and Women Affairs, Lady Ndidi Mezue said that APGA and its candidate, Professor Soludo remain the only combination that can consolidate the achievements of the present administration and deliver the best to Ndi Anambra.

The Transition Committee Chairman of Onitsha South, Mr. Emeka Asoanya and his North counterpart, Mr. Patrick Aghamba, in their remarks, noted that this year’s tour is most significant because it depicts the governor’s wife’s rare passion rising above personal considerations.

Hundreds of indigent persons and physically challenged people from the two local government areas benefitted from the tour largesse.
