Governor Willie Obiano has been described as the most caring and responsive leader Anambra state has ever had.
The chairman of the Willie Obiano Support Group, Chief Jude Emecheta made this assertion while exchanging views with the leadership of the Anambra Grassroots Awareness Initiative, AGAI, at the Support Group’s Secretariat in Awka.
Chief Emecheta cited the just concluded ANAMBRA FIRE AND SAFETY SUMMIT and Early Warning Sensitisation Meeting with Stakeholders in Flood Prone Local Government Areas of the State, as strong indications of Governor Obiano’s prompt response and deep concern for the yearnings and aspirations of Ndi Anambra.
He noted that the summit and flood sensitisation programme are clear evidences of the governor’s determination to always protect the lives and property of the citizenry as well as alleviating the plight of the masses.
In a remark, coordinator of Anambra Grassroots Awareness Initiative, Dr. Richard Ogbuagu pledged the readiness of his organization to work in tandem with the Willie Obiano Support Group to mobilize grassroots support for the governor ahead of next year’s gubernatorial poll in Anambra state.
Dr. Ogbuagu commended the Support Group for producing what he described as a factual and unassailable radio and television documentary which has effectively debunked the vile propaganda by political opponents against Governor Obiano and his administration.
The meeting between the Willie Obiano Support Group and Anambra Grassroots Awareness Initiative featured signing of a pact by both groups to increase the tempo of pro-Obiano mobilization towards the 2017 gubernatorial election in Anambra state.
