The people of Anaocha and Njikoka local government areas of Anambra state has received the campaign team of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA with thousands  of supporters from within and outside the party.
The visit which was part of the efforts by the party to sensitize Ndi Anambra on the need to be part of the Anambra November sixth governorship election and support  APGA and it’s candidates, Professor Chukwuma Soludo and Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim featured adoption of Soludo by the people through a voice vote, different solidarity songs by support groups and masquerade displays to welcome the APGA entourage.
APGA National Chairman, Chief Victor Oye and the Former National Chairman of APGA, Senator Victor Umeh while addressing the gathering maintained that APGA as a political party is much concerned with progress of Anambra state and assured the party will commit it’s resources towards achieving a greater Anambra.

Stakeholders who addressed the gathering on behalf of the people of the two local governments including the Transition Committee Chairman of Anaocha, Chief Patrick Onyedum, his Njikoka counterpart, Mr George Obiozoh, the Member Representing Anaocha, Njikoka and Dunukofia Federal Constituency Honourable Dozie Nwankwo, the member representing Anaocha Constituency Two, Honourable Ejike Okechukwu and his Njikoka Constituency Two counterpart, Honourable Pete Ibida noted that APGA has the best candidate that would drive development in Anambra and deliver  democratic dividends to Ndi Anambra.
They said that APGA has done well for Anambra and has presented a credible candidate Ndi Anambra could trust which is why they would stop at nothing in mobilizing support for APGA and Soludo/Ibezim candidacy.
Others who spoke including the Special Adviser to governor Obiano on Creative Security, Air Vice Marshal Ben Cbiobi Rtd, the MD andCEO, Anambra Broadcasting Service, Chief Uche Nworah , Chief Cyril Okoye of Adazi Ani Community, Chief Dan Ogbuefi of Agulu community and Chief Innocent Chiekezie of Ichida Community encouraged Ndi Anambra to come on November sixth and vote APGA as security is assured.
Professor Soludo while presenting his manifesto at the two local government councils, promised to consolidate on Obiano achievements and drive Anambra state to an enviable height.
Also speaking, Chief Jude Emecheta who  said that Governor Obiano’s best legacy is giving Ndi Anambra Soludo to succeed himb and called on Ndi Anambra to grab the golden opportunity APGA has presented through Soludo and watch Anambra become the best and also compete with the rest of the world.
The MD and CEO of Anambra Fisheries and Aquaculture Business Development Agency, FABDA, Mr Emeka Iloghalu in his remark explained the potentials of fish villages Obiano led administration is currently building in the three Senatorial District of Anambra to include, wealth creation, revenue generation and job creation for youths and women and expressed believe that Only Soludo would understand the potential of such project
The rallies was led by the Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano who is also the Leader of the party.

The APGA National Chairman ,Chief’s Victor Oye used the opportunity to  welcomed  new members and those that decamped from other political parties into APGA at the two events.
