Governor Willie Obiano says his administration will continue to make policies aimed at showcasing the rich Igbo cultural heritage to the international community.

Governor Obiano who made the assertion at a function at Nise, Awka South Local Government Area, advised Ndigbo to desist from acts capable of basterdising their culture and tradition.
Governor Obiano, who was represented by the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Town Union Matters, Mr. Greg Obi, said that he will leave no stone unturned towards revolutionarising agriculture to ensure food sufficiency in addition to having surplus for export to earn foreign exchange.
Contributing the APGA candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District re-run election, Chief Victor Umeh described culture as the peoples way of life and called on Ndigbo to join hands in safeguarding their culture from going into extinction.
In his remarks, the traditional ruler of Nise, Igwe Romanus Iloh, noted that only a return to agricultural practices will, in a short while, revive and sustain the nation’s economy which is presently in distress.
