Ogbaru Local Government Area has celebrated the victory of Professor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in the just concluded Anambra state governorship election.

 

The event hosted by the Transition Committee Chairman of the Council Area, Chief Arinzechukwu Awogu had in attendance members and leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, and All Soludo Support Groups in the Area,

 

Speaking during the event, Chief Awogu stated that the world would have lost its true meaning to Ndi-Anambra and the Igbo nation had the election gone the other way, maintaining that the ultimate will of the people has been served with the emergence of Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the winner of the election.

He described the victory of Professor Chukwuma Soludo in the Anambra state Governorship polls as an answered prayer, adding that Professor Soludo rode on the avalanche of the people’s goodwill to victory, as it is pan-Anambra and pan-Igbo mandate, willingly given to a man that has earned and enjoyed the people’s trust and confidence.

 

Also speaking, the Ogbaru Local Government Area Chairman of APGA, Chief Nnamadi Ifejika, thanked the people of Ogbaru for supporting the party and for putting up a good fight in the election.

 

In his remarks, the Director General Operations for the governorship election in Ogbaru, Pastor Onochie Obiora, said that with Professor Chukwuma Soludo’s victory, APGA is now looking beyond Anambra state, affirming that more states in the South-East will become APGA states to cement the vision of the eternal leader of the party, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.
