Against the backdrop of World Kindness Day celebration, on Saturday, November thirteenth some stakeholders in Anambra have called on the people to spare a thought for their fellow human beings.

World Kindness Day is celebrated thirteenth November Every year.

The purpose of the day is to highlight and encourage good deeds in various communities and also serves as a reminder to all, that simple acts of kindness have power to bring peace to the globe.

A respondent in Awka, Mrs. Amuche Ugokwe who described kindness as a virtue believes that the level of insecurity and war around the world could be reduced if not eliminated, when people begin to show a little bit of kindness to one another.

A political Analyst and Community leader, Comrade Obi Ochije while commending the proponents of the world kindness day, advised politicians to start being kind early enough in their various localities rather than waiting for election period to show love to people.

He posited that since kindness does not really require financial strength, people should endeavour to practice kindness as it pays to do so.

For an Ambassador of Peace and Director Center for Psychic Healing and Administration, Mrs Flora Ilonzo, kindness is great asset to anyone who has and shows it to people.

Mrs Ilonzo encouraged Nigerians irrespective of ethnic and geographical background, to be kind to everyone as such brings about blessings from God.

The purpose of the day, celebrated on November thirteenth of each year, is to help everyone understand that having compassion for others is what binds people together.
