The people of Awa in Orumba North Local Government Area say the emergence of Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the Governor-elect of Anambra State is by divine providence.
In a statement jointly signed by the President-General of Awa development Union Dr Ray Ofor and Secretary-General Mr Ifeanyi Okoli, the people of Awa described the emergence of Professor Soludo as the next Governor of Anambra State as a new beginning for Ndi Anambra.
Awa Community while describing Professor Chukwuma Soludo as a technocrat who has all it takes to govern Anambra State, expressed optimism on his ability to transform the state economy.
They commended Governor Willie Obiano for all his legacy projects in Anambra State, especially the community choose your project initiative, which they noted had brought development to the hinterlands and expressed happiness that he chose a worthy successor.
The people of Awa while reiterating their unalloyed Support to the Obiano administration and the incoming Professor Chukwuma Soludo’s Government, urged the government to work towards the completion of Ufuma-Awa Ndiukwuenu-Amansea road for enhanced vehicular movement in the area.
Meanwhile the president General of Neni town Union in Anaocha Local Government Area Chief Chukwudi Mbonu, has Commended the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for conducting a credible Election in the just concluded Anambra State Governorship election.
Speaking to the ABS at Neni following the declaration of the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Professor Chukwuma Soludo as winner of the election, Chief Mbonu maintained that the outcome of the election is a true reflection of the wish of Ndi Anambra.
Chief Mbonu while commending Ndi Anambra for taking full ownership of the state through the election, extolled the giant strides of Governor Willie Obiano in Anambra State and expressed optimism that the Governor-elect professor Soludo will continue from where the Governor will stop at the end of his tenure in March seventeenth 2022.
