Idemili North and South Council of Traditional Rulers has described the victory of Professor Chukwuma Soludo at the November six gubernatorial poll as fulfillment of the desire of Ndị Anambra to sustain tempo of good governance being recorded in the state.

The council made this known through their chairman, Igwe Charles Agbala of Uke Community, who was speaking in an interview with the Anambra Broadcasting Service, in Awka.

Correspondent Amaka Chibuzor-Okoye reports the council said that the landslide victory was the will of God and because of Professor Charles Soludo’s pedigree and sterling qualities, Ndi Anambra voted him to continue from where Governor Willie Obiano will stop.

Speaking further through Igwe Agbala, the council noted that despite all the apprehensive experiences and fear before the poll, Ndi Anambra spoke with one voice which he said showed that Governor Obiano’s legacies and dividends of democracy are second to none.

He expressed optimism that Professor Soludo, with his wealth of experience from the banking sector, will fulfill all his campaign promises.

The council congratulated Governor Obiano for making a right choice for Ndi Anambra having laid down monumental projects that have place the state in the world map and asked Professor Soludo to concentrate on erecting Governor’s lodge, sustain the economy of the state and create enabling environment for investments to thrive.
