The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, ACTDA, the Venerable Amaechi Okwuosa has described the victory of the All-Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, at the just concluded Anambra State governorship election as a victory for consolidation and continuity in good governance.

Njideka Okoye reports that Venerable Okwuosa, who gave the description while speaking on the outcome of the election, noted that before the election, fear of the unknown, concerns and insecurity were the order of the day but God showed His mercies.

He noted that APGA is not just a political party but a movement and that is why it has continued to survive and excel, praying that the Onye-aghana-nwanne-ya slogan of the party will continue to bear good fruits.

The ACTDA Boss said that Ndi Anambra are blessed to have Professor Chukwuma Soludo as their governor-elect, as he will consolidate and continue with the indelible legacies of Governor Willie Obiano, who according to him, has set a high standard in governance.

On her part, the Deputy Chairman, Post Primary Schools Service Commission, Lady Pat Offia thanked God for the conducive atmosphere and peace in Anambra during and after the election, describing it as the act of God.

Lady Pat, who said that the victory is not by might but by God’s grace, commended Governor Obiano for his solidarity and commitment, urging Ndi Anambra irrespective of party affiliation to join hands together to build a greater Anambra for the good of all.
