Chapel of Redemptiin and Staff Quarters  of Master’s Vessel Seminary Osumenyi  have been dedicated by the Bishop Anglican Diocese of Amichi, Right. Reverend Ephraim Ikeakor at the Seminary premises Osumenyi, Nnewi South Council Area.
     A special service held at the Chapel to mark the dedication attracted people from all walks of life from within and outside Anambra.
     Staff reporter Njideka Okoye covered the event and  reports.  that while dedicating the Chapel, Bishop Ikeakor  prayed and sanctified the font, Lectern, Pulpit and Prayer Desk among other places and thereafter the Deed of Dedication was read by the Chancellor of the Diocese, Justice Gloria Anulude and handed over to the Bishop for pronouncement.
     Delivering a sermon, Bishop Ikeakor who spoke on “The question you must ask” urged christians to discover their area of calling in life in order not to fail, regretting that many people no longer reverence God in worship and true repentance but are worshipping money, pleasure and other material things,  urging them to seek for salvation in Jesus Christ.
     Bishop Ikeakor who reminded the congregation that salvation is a personal matter urged them to be unconditional giver to attract more blessings.
     The Principal of the Seminary, Evangelist Charles Ezie and the Chairman Dedication Planning Committee who is also the Parents Teachers Association, chairman, Sir Jeff Okeke commended governor Willie Obiano, Basic Education Commissioner, Prof. Kate Omenugha and Bishop Ikeakor for being education friendly, noting that the seminary is a secondary school with full boarding facilities, committed towards giving students good mental, cultural, psychological and philosophical background that would help them achieve remarkable success in life through excellence in academics and moral character and relevant skills for a better society.
     In their separate remarks, the former governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi  represented by a former Commissioner for Lands Barrister John Okoli-Akilika and the traditional ruler of Akwaihedi, igwe Cornell Onebunne thanked God for his grace upon Bishop Ikeakor who they said is a blessing not only to Anglican community but to humanity as he has invested much in both capital, human and infrastructural development of the society.
     The dedication ceremony  which featured cutting of dedication cake, presentation by the Seminary choir and prayers and dedication of the staff quarters apartments by Bishop Ikeakor accompanied by a host of clergymen.
