The Archdeacon, Adazi-Ani Archdeaconry and Vicar of Saint Jude’s Church Adazi-Ani, Venerable Chris Nkem-Okafor says Christ came to set free, redeem and bring back souls that are perishing to God.

Venerable Nkem-Okafor stated this during Sunday service which is the last Sunday of the year and was titled’ Jesus, Full of Grace and Truth.

He noted that there is nothing so precious and special than the rear gift of Christ, who came to give hope, light, authority and reconcile man  with God so as to dominate and live a blissful life, reminding the parishioners that only sin can separate them from God.

At the Divine Mercy Chaplaincy, Amaku Awka, a visiting priest, Reverend Father Pio Okafor said unconditional love, sanity and respect are the ingredients that keep marriage going.

Reverend Father Okafor who stated this in a homily to mark Holy Family Sunday, maintained that there is no perfect family but respect, value and patience will help to radiate love, calling on couples to emulate the family of biblical Joseph and Virgin Mary, make them their role model, form a synergy for them to stand and always go back to their starting point when love was the uniting force.

Also, at Jesus Everlasting Evangelical Ministries Incorporate, the General Overseer, Apostle Israel Izuchukwu-Mmadubeze, encouraged Christians to renew their life with the birth of Christ and draw  closer now that they can find Him and work out their salvation so as to inherit God’s kingdom.

Meanwhile, a priest at the Anglican Church of the Pentecost, Government House Awka, Reverend Chukwudi Nwachukwuma encouraged Christians to receive Christ wholeheartedly and sin less as according to him, sin has brought a lot of people down in deprivation of God’s presence noting that they can live  with Christ only if they believe and trust in Him.
