The member representing Anambra West Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Honourable Patrick Obalum-Udoba says the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, remains the ideal party for Ndi Anambra, Ndigbo and Nigeria at large.

 

Honourable Udoba disclosed this at Umueze Anam when members of the People’s Democratic party, PDP, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Accord Party, among others from Anambra West Local Government Area decamped from their various political parties and joined APGA.

Correspondent Chibuzor Okoye reports that while addressing the decampees, Honourable Udoba thanked them for taking the right decision to join APGA in order to help develop the council area and Anambra State in general.

 

The lawmaker who said that APGA is a large family that accommodates all people of goodwill, assured them that nobody will discriminate against them under any guise, as well as advised them to always be responsive and loyal to their leaders and constituted authorities.

The Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra West Local Government Area, Sir Sylvester Orji-Okafor in his remarks told the new entrants to be of good behaviour at all times and get themselves acquainted with APGA manifesto and feel free to ask questions for clarifications.

 

Speaking on behalf of the decampees  the immediate past PDP Chairman of Anambra West, Mr. Michael Ifeatu said that they joined APGA because of their motto, which is to be one’s brother’s keeper, as well as the developmental strides of the party in the local government and Anambra State at large.

 

The acting Chairman of APGA in Anambra West Local Government Area, Mr. Chibuko Akwolu, Secretary, Mr. Patrick Okoye, Youth leader, Mr. Boniface Ozoemena, political appointees, APGA stakeholders among others were present at the event.
