Anambra State Government has launched a digital studio to enhance its e-learning education system.

 

The outgoing Commissioner for Basic Education, Professor Kate Omenugha launched the e-studio during the training of teachers on the use of the equipment and Studio.

 

Correspondent Chibuzor Obidike  reports that the education digital studio which houses digital board, cameras, computer sets, projectors, headphones, lapel Microphones with editing systems will be powered by hydro and solar energy for all round performance in the education system.

Flagging off the use of the digital studio, Professor Omenugha said that the center is a base for teachers and education stakeholders to advance their knowledge on digital teaching and pointed out that the most interesting thing is that all subjects recorded in the studio can be accessed both online and offline in all parts of the state.

 

Commending the Ministry for the milestones achieved, the Chairman, Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Education, Honourable Ejike Okechukwu described the project as a fruitful investment that must be sustained and assured that the committee will give them all the necessary backing to succeed.

He commended  the doggedness and passion of Professor Omenugha till the last minute, wishing her well as she bows out of office and appealed to her to avail her expertise whenever necessary.
