More stakeholders have continued to express optimism that Governor Chukwuma Soludo will launch Anambra state on the path of sustainable development.

 

They said Professor Soludo has the right blueprint to transform and harness potential in all sectors of the state.

 

Paul Ezeoke reports that the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Mrs Uche Ekwunife said the world is looking up to the Governor to inject new life in the state because of his pedigree, integrity, wealth of experience and capacity.

 

Senator Ekwunife said the people are hoping to see a new Anambra state with more opportunities and conducive business environment that will drive the private sector and attract more local and international investors.

 

In his reaction, the Anambra state President of Ọhaneze Ndịgbo, Prince Emeka Udedeme said Governor Soludo is well equipped and prepared to deliver on his manifesto and urged residents of the state to be alive to their civic responsibilities.

 

Prince Udodeme cautioned against indiscriminate dumping of refuse, urging the people to follow regulations and guidelines for proper refuse disposal to enable the state maintain clean and healthy environment.

 

He noted that the Governor’s policy of promoting made in Anambra products will accelerate economic growth across the state and Southeast, urging people to key into the initiative.

 

Also speaking, a frontline politician, Chief Stanley Nkwoka said the people of the state did well in electing Governor Soludo, noting that he has articulated people-oriented policies and programmes that will take the state to the next level.

 

Chief Nkwoka asked relevant stakeholders to look beyond party politics and join hands with the Governor to develop the state, noting that he started very well through prompt intervention to upgrade infrastructural facilities at Okpoko in Ogbaru council area.
