Staff of Anambra Broadcasting service ABS have Commended the acting Managing Director of the establishment Mr Gab Okpalaeze for all his efforts towards taking the government owned electronic media to the next level.
The staff Including Mr Abuchi Nwozor who is  a two time president of the Rotary club of Awka Nnamdi Azikiwe University and Prince Emeka Kalu who is the Vice President  Radio Television Theatre and Arts workers union of Nigeria RATTAWU said that Mr Gab Okpalaeze has through his performances so far shown that he is ready for the task associated with the position of the Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting service.
They called on the Government to help reposition the Anambra Broadcasting service ABS by allowing it’s staff to occupy the position of the Managing Director of the state government owned electronic outfit.
Mr Abuchi Nwozor and Prince Emeka Kalu said that series of reforms by the Acting Managing Director of the Anambra Broadcasting service, Mr Okpalaeze should be encouraged to enable the establishment move to an enviable heights.
According to them the various commitees put in place by the acting Managing Director Mr Okpalaeze is part of measures aimed at creating more partnership between the Anambra Broadcasting service ABS ,the private sector and critical stakeholders in Anambra State and beyond.
Other staff who spoke at the meeting including the Vice Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalist NUJ Anambra state Council, Mrs Ngozi Obeleri also commended Mr Okpalaeze for running an open door policy and appealed to the Government to consider appointing a top management staff of the Anambra Broadcasting service as it’s Managing Director since according to them being an insider the person will know how to take both the staff and the establishment to a sustainable growth.
