An Industrialist Dr Godwin Okafor has called for the establishment of an industrial park in Anambra State for speedy Industrialization of the State.
He made the call while speaking to the ABS at Agu-Awka Industrial Layout.
According to Dr Okafor who is a community leader in Isuofia Aguata Local Government Area, the establishment of industrial park in Anambra State will no doubt ensure steady Industrial growth, boost the economy and create jobs for the teeming youths.
He said that since the private sector contributes to the economic development of any Nation the government should support it by creating an enabling environment for its sustainable growth.
Dr Okafor expressed the hope that Governor Chukwuma Soludo will encourage the private sector for enhanced industrial development of the State and called for improved transport sector, quality education and participatory governance under the Soludo government and placing high premium on the security of life and property.
For Chief Cosmas Ukandu who described Governor Chukwuma Soludo as a tested technocrat who has all it takes to transform Anambra State maintained that under Professor Soludo, Anambra State will continue to be an example to Igbo Land in terms of good governance.
Chief Ukandu who hails from Imo State used the opportunity to call on the five Governors of the South-East to come together and forge a common front to tackle insecurity.
