The State Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Sir Nobert Obi has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for appointment of quality and outstanding individuals as commissioner nominees for his administration.
Speaking in Awka, Sir Nobert said the appointment further justified the confidence people have in his government.
Paul Ezeoke reports that Sir Nobert expressed satisfaction that the appointment covered the interest of all stakeholders including APGA as a political party, various local government areas and others.
He noted that the nominees when confirmed will use their wealth of experience to assist the Governor to translate his vision to reality and launch the state on course for sustainable development.
Sir, Nobert said the appointment equally confirmed that the Governor is determined to carry all parts of the state along and give everybody a sense of belonging.
He called on members of the State House of Assembly to accelerate the screening and confirmation of the nominees to enable the Governor take off with his new executive Council without much waste of time.
In his reaction, a member of the Board of Trustees of Anambra Demand Soludo Chief Henry Igboeli noted that the nominees are individuals of integrity who have distinguished themselves in various fields of life and have in one way or another made their mark in the society.
Chief Igboeli who is also the National Patron of ADS noted that with the caliber of the commissioner nominees the state will witness accelerated growth and development in various sectors with more windows of opportunities for the people.
He commended the Governor for his courage and political will in embarking on the upgrade and rebuilding of Okpoko as well as ban on touting and illegal revenue collection which he noted will bring a new dawn to the state.
