It is already nineteen days since the emergence of a new government in Anambra State.

For most Ndi Anambra within and outside the state, the dawn of Professor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration, represented not just a new political beginning for Anambra State, but a step up for practical democratic leadership.

Correspondent Daniel Ezeigwe, who spoke with some Ndi Anambra on the subject, reports that they believed the new administration is already waltzing finely.

Usually, not much is expected of an administration at its infancy as the strangeness of the new position and most complex factors that the new dispensation must acclimatize itself with, mostly come first but, Professor Soludo’s administration looks to have already found a way around the usually complex formula.

Nnokwa, Idemili South-born real estate magnate, Chief Anthony Ezekwugo, in an interview said, from his activities till date, Professor Soludo has shown that he was fully ready for the new position, most remarkably, the release of his commissioner nominees list in just two weeks after his swearing in, capturing his determination to work with people, who have something to offer.

Chief Ezekwugo, who praised the Anambra State Governor’s leadership style, observed that Ndi Anambra have a lot to gain from his multi-faceted experience, passion for success and focus on productivity.

For Engineer Chigozie Agbasiere, the new administration has kicked off strongly, and has shown that it is out to work on its pre-election pledges.

He however, noted that Ndi Anambra must throw their full support behind the new government to enable it succeed.

A stakeholder in Awka Community, Comrade Obi-Ochije Modilim, in his assessment, noted that there were never doubts about Professor Soludo’s readiness, explaining that the former Central Bank of Nigeria’s chief had his plans mapped out and eyes set on the target. UPSOT
