The remains of late Princess Chioma Nwafor have been laid to rest at her husband’s compound, Agbata Village Ndiowu in Orumba North Local Government Area.

The late Mrs Nwafor who died at the age of forty is survived by her husband Mr. Kingsley Nwafor, four children and brothers.

Onyinye Agubaeze reports that during the funeral service, the Parish Priest of Saint Lawrence Anglican Church, Ndiowu, Reverend Divine favour Abalogu, while consoling the family, said that the deceased was a good wife which was evident in her relationship with family and friends.

Reverend Abalogu who noted that Jesus is the only way to heaven, said that the earthly body is only a tent as the most important thing is where one will spend eternity.

While thanking all who came to commiserate with his family, Mr. Kingsley Nwafor said his wife was a noblewoman whose good heart touched all who came in contact with her, promising to always cherish her even after death and take good care of their children.

Also, her daughter, Miss Oluebube who recounted the numerous teachings of her late mother, promised to live a purposeful life and take good care of her younger siblings.

In a remark, a brother to the deceased, Mr. Onyeka Eze, said that his late elder sister played the role of a mother, role model, confidant and will forever be missed as he prayed for her soul to rest in the bosom of the Lord.

The Traditional Prime Minister of Ndiowu, Chief Godwin Ugbaja urged the family to take solace as the deceased lived a worthy life.
