A public affairs analyst Comrade Obi-Ochije Muodilim has called for more sensitization on the need for the people to always patronize locally made products.

Speaking on ABS Radio and Television Programme Tonimas half hour Comrade Ochije Muodilim regretted the nonchalant attitude of the people towards the locally made products and called on the government at different levels to seek ways of making the people to understand the benefits of patronizing locally made products.

According to Comrade Ochije Muodilim, who is a Community Leader in Awka it is only when the people form the habit of patronizing locally made products that the Gross Domestic Product of the Nigerian-Nation will continue to improve.

He urged Nigerians to always take pride in purchasing made in Nigeria goods to enhance the growth of indigenous firms and called on the government to create an enabling environment for the speedy industrialization of the Nigerian-Nation.

Comrade Ochije Muodilim also called on the public to always eat native food for a healthier growth.

Some callers on the programme appealed to the government to create more conducive environment for the speedy growth of indigenous firms in addition to having special recognition for those who had been helping the government to reduce the unemployment rate through their various industries especially the late Dr Anthony Enukeme.
