The Commissioner for Culture Tourism and Entertainment Comrade Don Onyenji has called for partnership with the state government to develop tourism sector of the state for improved revenue generation.

 

The Commissioner made the call after the handover note was presented to him by the supervising Permanent Secretary of the ministry.

He promised to work in line with the Governor’s vision of making entertainment industry in the state colourful as well as projecting the cultural heritage of the state to the world.

 

The Commissioner invites interested investors to join hands to develop the cultural heritage, tourism and entertainment sectors of the state economy for improved revenue.

 

Comrade Onyenji called on staff of the Ministry to key into the vision and mission of Governor Soludo’s developmental agenda to make the state a liveable mega state.

On her part, the Supervising Permanent Secretary ministry of Culture, Tourism and Entertainment Mrs. Stephanie Uzor, expressed hope that the entertainment industry would soon receive a boost, noting that Anambra people are among the best entertainers in the world.

 

The Permanent Secretary advised all to study Governor Soludo’s inaugural speech, manifesto, vision 2070 and transition committee report to understand the governor’s plan of developing the state.

The Commissioner later had a meeting with various heads in his ministry.
