Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has dissociated self from the news trending online in some social media handles, alleging that Governor Chukwuma Soludo announced on Friday April twenty-nine that the twenty million dollars which former Governor Peter Obi invested on behalf of Anambra State in Sabmiller Group is now worth one hundred million dollars.
The writer further claimed that from the aforementioned date, that Anambra State owns the highest share in the global company.
A release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Christian Aburime, described the social media news as untrue and should be completely disregarded.
The release however notified the general public that the statement, allegedly credited to Governor Soludo is completely false as the governor never made or issued any statement to that effect.
