The traditional ruler of Owelle community, Anambra West Local Government Area, Igwe Lieutenant commander Raymond Omoja retired has called on Ndi Anambra to assist governor Chukwuma Soludo in ensuring the safety of life and properties of residents of the state.
Igwe Omoja who disclosed this while speaking to the ABS in Awka, appealed to the residents of the state to ensure that they assist the Soludo’s administration’s drive of ensuring a secure, liveable and prosperous Anambra State.
The Owelle monarch also appealed to the youths to desist from all forms of social vices, especially the unwanted killings and destruction of properties as it will do nobody any good, rather it will destroy the economic life of the State and the South East in general.
Igwe Omoja who maintained that peaceful agitation is a civil right, pointed out that the approach must be in conformity with the existing laws of the land and called on governments at all levels to bring an amicable solution to the numerous agitations in the country.
The traditional ruler further urged governor Soludo to remember Anambra West Local Government Area in his administration’s infrastructural development as the council area has suffered untold hardship for a very long time, despite being the food basket of Anambra state.
