The remains of the late Mrs Roseline Akwuom Nwana, have been laid to rest in her husband’s compound at Nawfia in Njikoka Local Government Area.
The late Mrs Nwana, died at the age of ninety-four.
Queen Anigbogu reports that people from all walks of life including the clergy from both Catholic and Anglican Churches, among numerous others graced the occasion.
The burial mass which took place at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Nawfia, was officiated by Reverend Father Fabian Anumba.
Speaking later, the first son of the deceased, Chief Anthony Nwana, appreciated all that identified with their family.
Also speaking, another son of the deceased Mr Stan Nwana an Architect described his mother’s death as a great loss but thanked God for having granted her longevity and good health.
In her remarks, one of the daughters, Mrs Ebele Mozie, of the Anambra Broadcasting Service said she lacked words to explain the kind of person her mother was.
In compliance with the Anambra State government’s Burial Law, the ceremony was conducted only one day, hence attracting a very huge crowd of people who came for condolences including the ABS Family.
Special prayers, offertory, interment and dance featured at the event.
