Worshippers at the Tree of Life Gospel Ministry, Nanka, an offshoot of Holy Sabbath of Christ the King Mission Worldwide, Nnobi, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State have told Nigerians to ready themselves to celebrate freedom from the yoke of insecurity and other challenges facing humanity in the country.
The worshippers, who spoke in their numbers at the Omnipresence Sanctuary, Mount Sinai, Nanka, Orumba North Local Government Area, assured that the seven days intensive prayer they held, will purify the land, and lift the country from its hopelessness, sufferings and backwardness to usher-in a happy life to its citizenry.
One of the worshippers, Mr. Emmanuel Inya-Anya, said the feast of Passover commemorates victory over the challenges facing the people of God, and noted that people from all walks of life spent seven days in the presence of God praying for the return of peace, security and unity in Anambra State and Nigeria in general.
Another elder, Apostle Gerald Ihesinulo, said Passover Feast remains an important occasion for people to emulate life of God, adding that the challenges people have been praying to God to remove would the spirit of Passover be actualized.
Contributing, another member, Dr. Somtochukwu Inya-Agha, likened the event to the biblical freedom of Israelites from Egypt, describing it as a great event for worshippers, who have been assured of freedom from all trials and tribulations.
Earlier in his homily, the founder and General Overseer of Tree of Life Gospel Ministry, Nanka, Bishop Dr. Dada Obi, advised Christians to do the will of God at all times, and stressed the importance of humility to the worshippers when they are in the presence of God.
He informed that bonding and healing are key benefits of the feast, and expressed optimism that the prayers of the ministry would go a long way in turning around the sufferings in the society.
