The Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor says Anambra State has produced preeminent priests, who have continued to make impressive marks in their various religious organizations.

In his goodwill message to the Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese, Most Reverend Peter Okpalaeke on his elevation as a Cardinal by Pope Francis, Right Honourable Okafor noted that the good work of Bishop Okpalaeke in all the places he has served, his sound education as well as his outstanding theological prowess are among the considerations that earned him the exalted position.
