The Management and staff of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, has condoled with the Madiebo family of Umuokpu village Awka in Awka South Local Government Area over the death of their patriarch and former Chief of Staff of the defunct Biafran Army, General Alexander Madiebo.

 

In a condolence message to the family, through his son, Mr Richard Madiebo, the Acting Managing Director of the ABS, Mr Gab Okpalaeze described General Madiebo’s demise as a loss to the international community and the entire Igbo race.

 

He also said that his demise will not end his pride of place in history as the Anambra Broadcasting Service will keep him alive in the minds of the nation through its various platforms and channels in line with the Professor Chukwuma Soludo administration’s policy of recognizing personalities.

 

Pa Madiebo died at the age of ninety.
