Governor Chukwuma Soludo has charged Ndi Anambra to imbibe the habit of clearing up their environment including the drainage system in front of their compounds for a cleaner, greener and healthier state.
He gave the charge at Eke Awka Market during yesterday’s monthly environmental sanitation exercise in Anambra State.
The Governor emphasized that the State government is starting the monthly exercise again with greater vigour towards the journey of a cleaner, greener, planned and sustainable environment.
In a vote of thanks, the Chairman of Eke Awka market, Chief Jude Agummadu appreciated the Governor for commencing the exercise from the market, pledging to support him.
The Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Felix Odimegwu, the market populace, among others, attended the event.
