The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission, ICPC, has sort for partnership with the Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, to enable the Commission to drive the message of anti-corruption to the grassroot.
The Anambra State Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner of the Commission, Mr. Godwin Oche sort for the collaboration when he paid a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of ABS, Sir Chido Obidiegwu in his office at Awka.
Mr. Oche said the visit was to identify with the establishment, sensitize the populace and seek partnership to ensure that corruption is well tackled in the state.
He disclosed that in the efforts to drive the operation of ICPC closer to the grassroot, the board decided to open an office in Anambra State to serve the people.
While extolling ABS for its wide audience and global reach, Mr. Oche, said that ICPC is determined to enlighten the people to ensure they stay out of corruption.
Responding, Sir. Chido assured the readiness of the ABS to collaborate with the agency to reduce corruption to its barest minimum, hence, achieving Governor Soludo’s vision of a smart and prosperous homeland.
