Governor Chukwuma Soludo has approved the appointment of Mr Emeka Okonkwo as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Traffic Management Agency, ATMA.
Mr Okonkwo an Engineer had previously served as the Transition Committee Chairman of Dunukofia Local Government Area.
Governor Soludo asked the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Traffic Management Agency to remember that a lot is expected of him in his new role as the current administration is mapping out strategies to curb disturbing traffic situations across major roads in the state, and wished him the best.
Responding, the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Anambra Traffic Management Agency Mr Okonkwo extoled Governor Solduo for always going for the best in all his appointments, and pledged to bring in reforms that will transform traffic controls on Anambra roads.
Mr Okonkwo also promised to work in tandem with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the operation zero traffic in Anambra State that is spearheaded by the current administration is comprehensively achieved.
