Stakeholders in Anambra have continued to express their feelings on the journey so far as the state celebrates her thirty first year of creation.

 

Correspondent Njideka Okoye sampled people’s view on Anambra since creation reports that people were of the opinion that Anambra is getting it right gradually.

Such expression came from the Chairman Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, ACTDA, Venerable Azuka Okwuosa who outlined the state’s achievements in different sectors since creation and the place of the present Anambra state in the world map explained that Ndi Anambra have every cause to celebrate.

 

Venerable Okwuosa looking at the achievements of the present administration said that Governor Chukwuma Soludo has made innovations and positive changes that have affected the lives of Ndi Anambra, adding that Governor Soludo is working out his manifesto and vision of turning Anambra into a mega city, siting his efforts and interventions to improve and upgrade infrastructure and socio economic activities in Okpoko, Ogbaru Council Area.

The ACTDA Boss said that in the Housing sector, Governor Soludo has gone far to highlight and take adequate and positive steps to put into effect what a mega city looks like, noting that in the Awka Capital Territory, the government has fortified and increased their zeal to correct all the anomalies and to put into effect what should be done.

 

For the Transition Committee Chairman for Orumba South, Price Neville Uchendu, though Anambra had previous governors who contributed in one way or the other, achievements by APGA governors are well pronounced.

 

Narrowing it down to the present administration, Prince Uchendu explained that Governor Chukwuma Soludo is effecting positive change in all sectors as he has introduced palm seedlings, Coconut and other tree planting programmes which he distributed to local governments in the state while work will soon commence at the proposed pharmaceutical site at Ogboji in Orumba South for production of drugs and other medicals.

The Orumba South Transition Chairman said that on industry, the administration of Governor Soludo is to build industries, tourist centers among others at Ndi-Ukwuenu in Orumba North Local Government Area and has commissioned construction of roads.
