A stakeholder Chief Ikechukwu Ekwugbalu says Governor Soludo has within six months in office shown unequalled dedication, commitment, devotion and selflessness in service, just as he described him as a man with clear and resolute ambition to move Anambra state forward.
Chief Ekwugbalu pointed out that within this short period, the Governor has successfully battled insecurity and advanced the frontiers of peace in the state, faced environmental degradation holistically and declared state of emergency on Anambra roads.
While speaking to newsmen in Onitsha, Chief Ekwegbalu remarked that Governor Soludo has not only brought scholarship to bare on governance, but has introduced so much innovations in his administration that every segment of the society including the locals at the grassroots is benefitting thereby changing the narrative of the history of rural dwellers.
Chief Ekwegbalu cited the introduction of regenerative agriculture and modernization of parks, markets and IGR management as well as the model pattern of appointment of his team as some of these innovations and added that this system of administration where merit takes precedence is yielding the desired results.
He expressed optimism that from what is seen today in terms of development, Governor Soludo’s administration will definitely achieve all its set objectives, particularly the prime goal of transforming the state to a mega smart city that will be conducive for all citizens.
While describing a quantum leap in skills among youths as the thresholds that can effectively propel a nation to full economic development, Chief Ekwegbalu commended the Governor for his efforts to boost entrepreneurship and foster skill acquisition programme to open more window of employment.
He observed that today majority of Ndi Anambra are in high spirit following the high tempo of development witnessed in the state, adding that the administration’s governance structure has opened up social and political space for youths as evidenced in their appointment to positions of authority.
