Governor Soludo has promised that his administration will pay more attention on projects that will have more impact on ndi Anambra especially the downtrodden.
The Governor gave the promise at Ojoto, Idemili South Local Government Area during the flag off of the dredging and rehabilitation project of the failed portion of the popular Mmili John Road, Ojoto.
Government House Correspondent Valentine Mbadugha reports that the Governor in his statement was particular about roads that will open up economic activities and encourage more development in the state.
He asked the people of Idemili South to key into the Public Community Private Partnership model for quick and sustainable community development.
Governor Soludo thanked the people of Idemili South, especially the youths for their support and cautioned against negative vices, urging them to meaningfully engage themselves.
The Transition Committee Chairman for Idemili South Local Government Area, Mrs Amaka Obi in her address, pointed out the key areas that needed urgent attention to ease the suffering of the people.
She harped on the need for improved security in the area to check the activities of non-state actors, and assured that the people of Idemili South will not relent in giving the state government maximum support to achieve a livable and prosperous Anambra State in the nearest future.
The traditional ruler of Ojoto, Igwe Gerald Mbamalu while narrating the ordeal of people at the Mmili John road, thanked the Governor for his prompt response.
For the APGA Candidate for Idemili North and South Federal Constituency, Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu, Public Community Private Partnership model proposed by Governor Soludo will be a game changer and encouraged the people of Idemili South to be steadfast.
The Anambra state Commissioner for Culture, Tourism and Entertainment, Mr Don Onyenji in a vote of thanks, said that Idemili South will play their part in making Anambra State greater.
The Commissioner for Works, Engineer Ifeanyi Okoma at the event promised that all the projects awarded within the area will be delivered in a record time.
In attendance were stakeholders of APGA in Idemili South Local Government Area, community leaders, youths and women.
Governor Soludo toured and inspected the ongoing work at Mmili John road to climax the event.
