The Transition Chairman for Dunukofia Local Government Area, Ukpo, Chief Augustine Onyemaobi has commended Governor Chuwkuma Soludo for his giant strides towards moving Anambra state forward with his disruptive changes in various sectors including flag off of planting of palm trees and coconut in Anambra state.

 

He made the commendation while receiving Ndi Nze na Ozo and the executive members of Nagwu Development Union in his office recently.

 

While saying that the palm trees and coconuts seedlings were distributed to all the wards in the twenty-one local government areas of Anambra state, the chairman also assured the people of Dunukofia Local government Area that he will carry every body along during his stay in the office, and promised open door policy for everyone.

 

During the visit, the Traditional Prime Minister of Nagwu, Onowu Benjamin Okeke on behalf of the people of Nagwu community, congratulated the newly appointed Transition Chairman, who is an illustrious son of Nagwu community and Dunukofia Local Government Area on his new status and advised him to protect the image of Dunukofia Local Government very well with his position, assuring him of their maximum support through out his stay in office.

 

The President General of Nagwu Development Union, Chief Nnamdi Okeke on behalf of Nagwu community, said they have waited patiently for one of them to be given the position since creation of Dunukofia Local Government Area, appreciating Professor Soludo and all the people of Dunukofia Local Government Area for allowing their dream come true
