Governor Chukwuma Soludo has said that only sincere and visionary leadership is capable of maximising the untapped potential of Nigeria as a nation.
Governor Soludo was speaking in Awka on the occasion of Nigeria’s 62nd independence day anniversary celebration held at the Dr Alex Ekwueme Square Awka .
According to Governor Soludo, there is great need for patriotic and progressive Nigerians to come together and build a future for the nation.
He harped on the need to rediscover the values on which the nation was founded and collectively win the war against vices confronting the nation and regretted that Nigeria is operating largely below ten percent of its potential
Governor Soludo used the opportunity to call on Ndi Anambra to make their individual and collective contributions towards a greater Anambra State.
Reaffirming the commitment of the government to make Anambra most peaceful, secured and livable society, Governor Soludo reiterated that criminality, touting and lawlessness has no place in Anambra State, calling on those indulging in such act to retrace their steps.
For the Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma Udeh and the Deputy Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Paschal Agbodike, Nigeria as nation was built on equal opportunity for all but has lost direction.
While calling for a collective action towards building a greater Nigeria and Anambra State they commended the commitment of Governor Soludo towards transforming State.
The event was attended by all the service commanders in the state, members of the state executive council, and other critical stakeholders.
