Governor Chukwuma Soludo has re-constituted the Board of Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, ASUBEB with Dr. Mrs. Vera Nwadinobi as the Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer.
The board has Mrs. Ifeyinwa Anatune, Dr Mrs. Kanayo Chukwurah and Mrs. Theresa Azodo as full-time members.
A release signed by the commissioner for Information, Sir Paul Nwosu listed other members to include Mrs. Ndidi Odegbo, ex-Officio, Anambra North, Mrs. Agnes Obi, ex-Officio Anambra South, Mrs. Agatha Ajuora, ex-officio Anambra Central, Mrs. Fidelia Agbaizu, ex-officio Ministry of Education and Comrade Mrs. Nonye Chibueze, JP, Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT.
Others are Mrs. Theresa Okoye, Women Group, Dame Mrs. Chinyere Mbakwe, Private School Owners, Mrs. Uche Egbusi representing Parents Teachers Association, Dr Uchenna Ezeani, NASU and Mrs. Ebele Mgbemena, Secretary.
According to the release, the board will be inaugurated on Wednesday October five by ten o’clock in the morning at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia.
