Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, has announced plan to host ‘Shine the Light Reality Show’.

 

The Managing Director of the establishment, Sir Chido Obidiegwu disclosed this when he led members of the Planning Committee of the event on a courtesy visit to the Anambra State Association of Town Unions, ASATU.

Disclosing plans for the show, Sir Chido revealed that the project has the main thrust of showcasing Anambra traditions, cultures and values for people to see how the state shines the light that would be emulated and called for a partnership with ASATU to ensure that the initiative becomes a reality, even as he examined strategies to make the show a success .

 

While noting that ASATU will play a critical role to ensure the success of the program, the ABS boss said that the show will involve all the communities in the state and solicited support and sponsorship from all stakeholders.

The National President of ASATU, Barrister Titus Akpudo, assured ABS of their support to ensure that the program becomes a reality, while thanking the organization for the wonderful initiative.

 

Other members of ASATU, including the National Vice President, Professor Charles Nwadigwe, the President General of Enugu-ukwu community Chief Bonny Ozo Nkwuaku, asked questions and made suggestions to the organization for the programme’s progress.

In a vote of thanks, the Director of the upcoming show, Mrs. Chinyere Ozoh, appreciated ASATU for giving them the opportunity to interface with the Association and described ASATU as a critical player in grassroots development.
