In the beginning God created them man and woman, and for this, a man would leave his parents and join with the wife.
This was the case when Rita Chidimma Ezigbo of the ABS and Jimson Chukwunonso Anyorah were joined together as husband and wife.
The blissful union, which took place at the Clavery Chapel, All Saints Cathedral Onitsha, attracted family members, friends and well-wishers.
In his sermon, the officiating minister, Reverend Chidi Okonkwo advised the couple to live a prayerful life, love one another and put Christ first in all they do.
He urged the bride, Chidimma, to be submissive to the husband for her to enjoy the marriage, while the groom, Jimson, should love the wife as Christ loves the Church.
Thereafter, the reception arena was indeed a sight to behold; as family members of the bride from Awkuzu, and that of the groom from Adazi Ani, ABS Family, friends and well-wishers converged to witness celebration of the journey to a new life.
In their words, the couple, Chidimma and Chukwunonso said their union is God’s connection, promising to love and cherish one another forever.
On their parts, parents of the bride, Barrister and Mrs. Nweke Ezigbo, while wishing their daughter and husband well, prayed for fruitfulness and happy married life.
Also speaking, the father of the groom, Sir Obi Anyaora expressed joy with the successful union, advising the new couple to listen to each other; while praying God to bless them.
The Head of Station, ABS Onitsha, Mrs. Ifeoma Udechukwu, who led other ABS Staff to the event, described Chidimma as a dedicated staff who never toyed with her job.
