The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, flag bearer for Anambra Central Senatorial district in the 2023 general elections, Honourable Dozie Nwankwo, has vowed to fulfill and surpass his campaign promises to Ndi Anambra Central Senatorial district.

 

Honourable Nwankwo made this known during the official inauguration of Anambra Central Seeks Dozie Nwankwo programme in Awka.

The group, a grassroot movement for the two-time House of Representatives member, had already embarked on different philanthropic gestures on behalf of the candidate to get his name across all households for a successful 2023 poll.

 

The group equally used the occasion to endorse all APGA flag bearers in the elections for using their support to project, drive and ensure their successes as enshrined in the APGA constitution.

The convener of Anambra Central Seeks Dozie Nwankwo, Prince Ikechukwu Ndigwe, said the day was to inaugurate the support group in all the wards in Anambra Central, and pointed out that the move is a voluntary decision of members of the Senatorial district, adding that Honourable Nwankwo’santecedents and vision speak volume.

 

He said that Honourable Nwankwo has demonstrated accountability, quality and youthfulness in the House of Representatives for the past years, which he said have endeared him to his constituents, and promised that the group will do all it takes to deliver him, alongside other APGA candidates.

In his remark, Honourable Nwankwo, who said that he has been at the grassroot,

 

reminded APGA faithful that candidates of the party in the general elections are men of credibility, vowed that all his promises will be matched with actions.

He revealed that his aspiration to the Senate is to assist the state government make cases and plans that will assist the good people of Anambra State, urged APGA members to continue to believe in themselves and be ready to use their voter’s card properly during the elections.

 

Other APGA flag bearers at the event assured the people that they will continue to project and respect ideals the state is known for, and asked for their continuous support in the coming 2023 general elections.

The Transition Committee Chairmen of Awka South and Dunukofia Council Areas, Mr. ThankGod Anagor and Augustin Onyenaobi, pledged their unalloyed support to Honourable Nwankwo, and asked the electorate not to be deceived, but see 2023 as a turning point for quality representation that will end hardship and suffering in the country.

 

 

During the event, individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the Senatorial district, including a former Transition Committee Chairman of Awka South, Mr. Leo Nwuba, and a philanthropist, Chief Azubike Ekweozor of Ide Umuawulu Movement, among numerous others, were given awards.
