Following the recent outburst on the social media platform, concerning a thirteen-year-old girl impregnated by her guardian, Sunday with six children, the Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Honourable Ify Obinabo has rescued and taken to a safe place, the expectant young mother.
Honourable Obinabo, who rescued the young mother during her visit to Saint Benedict Hospital, Adazi-Nnukwu, where the thirteen-year-old mother has been residing, appreciated internet users that brought the ugly incident to her attention and assured of justice.
While commending the Nigeria Police for arresting the perpetuator, Honourable Obinabo promised to give the young mother deserved justice.
Narrating her ordeal, the thirteen-year-old mother, carrying her two months old baby affirmed that she is not the only victim of her perpetuator as according to her, the second girl, who also got pregnant for the said man is seven years old and stays in the same house with them.
Speaking further, the thirteen-year-old mother, who unveiled that all these happened when her madam, popularly known as Madam Ghana traveled to the village leaving only them with her man in the house, said she did not tell her father because she had earlier reported the abuse to her madam, who in turn warned the husband to stop engaging them in such act.
The thirteen-year-old mother, who is from Ákwá-Ibom State while the father resides at Agulu Community, Anaocha Council Area, was sent to live with her guardians at Diamond House Awka, before the incident which made her madam to return her to her father.
