Anambra State Government has extended invitation to the general public for this year’s Christmas Carol and Awesome Praise, which will take place today ; twenty-first December twenty twenty-two; by two o’clock in the afternoon; at the International Convention Center Awka.
Selected orchestra and choir groups will be on ground to activate the mood of the season at the arena, in addition to other side attractions.
A statement by the state Commissioner for Culture, Tourism and Entertainment, Mr. Don Onyenji, explained that the programme, which has the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, as the chief host, will feature many gospel artistes, including Chinyere Udoma.
The statement urges Transition Committee Chairmen of the twenty-one local government areas of the state, Heads of various ministries, departments and agencies, traditional rulers, Presidents General to mobilize their members to attend the state function.
Commissioner Onyenji, his Ministry of Youth Development counterpart, Mr. Patrick Agha Mba and other government functionaries would be on ground to ensure success of the programme, according to the statement.
