Positive reactions have continued to trail the recent employment of five thousand teachers for both Public Primary and Post Primary Schools in Anambra State by the administration of Professor Chukwuma Soludo.
One of the respondents who spoke in an interview with the ABS in Awka Chief Boniface Egbutu described the employment of these teachers and subsequent issuance of their letters of appointment in an open at the international convention center in Awka, as a clear indication that Governor Soludo is an apostle of due process, transparency and a democrat per excellence.
Chief Egbutu who is a Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA and a Community Leader at Nise in Awka South Local Government Area maintained that the recent appointment of these teachers is a major step by the present administration in Anambra State towards improving the education sector.
He charged the teachers to reciprocate the gesture by putting in more effort in their duties so as to justify the confidence reposed in them.
Chief Egbutu while also commending Governor Soludo for his plan to revitalize the health sector in the State through the revamping of some General Hospitals across Anambra said that the move is a clear testament that Governor Soludo places high premium on healthcare delivery.
Contributing another Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance Chief Osita Ezechukwu who described the policies and programmes of the Soludo administration as one that is capable of restoring people’s confidence in governance charged the people to always pray for those in authority to enable them deliver on their mandate.
Chief Ezechukwu who is a Community Leader at Nanka in Orumba North Area observed that the ongoing massive road construction and re-construction in different parts of the State by Governor Soludo will apart from improving both human and vehicular movements boost business transactions.
Chief Ezechukwu used the opportunity to call on Nigerians especially the Christian faithful to use the period of Christmas in praying for the peaceful conduct of the 2023 general elections.
