The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA) Mr. Ossy Onuko has called on Ndi Anambra to keep supporting the Governor Chukwuma Soludo led administration in its effort to make the state a secure and livable homeland.
Mr. Onuko who stated this while speaking to newsmen in Awka over the recent killings in some places in the state, including Awka noted that Governor Soludo is determined to rip the state of all agents of darkness and their cohorts wherever they are.
The ACTDA boss who euologized the governor for his numerous giant strides within his nine months in the office, appealed to the residents of Anambra state to support the governor and security agencies in ensuring that Anambra remains secure by giving vital information about miscreants, criminals and murderers anywhere they find them.
He regretted the unnecessary shedding of blood in some areas recently and called on the various security agencies in the state to raise the tempo of their work through active intelligence gathering to end the ugly menace.
Mr. Onuko further appealed to Anambra youths to stay away from all forms of social vices and join in the lofty policies and programmes which the current administration in the state has for them.
According to Mr. Onuko, Governor Soludo’s administration has already mapped out over two point five billion naira for youths empowerment in the state and wondered why any Anambra youth would not utilize such golden opportunity.
The ACTDA Managing Director reaffirmed the resolve of the agency to keep delivering on the mandate given them, even as he called on all land allottees at the Executive Business District in Awka to come to the Agency’s headquarters to regularize their properties with the Awka Capital Territory Land Recovery Committee for accountability, and for their own interests.
