People from all walks of life recently trooped out to witness the solemnization of holy matrimony between former Miss Thelma Anthony and Mr. Kenneth Ohalete at Saint Anthony’s Parish Umunachi Osuama, Isiala Mbano Imo State.

 

The groom is the son of a philanthropist Chief Theodore Ohalete who the community holds in a high esteem.

The event which was a funfair attracted Traditional rulers, Government functionaries and Business associates who came to share in the joy of the newly wedded couple.

 

The wedding ceremony was officiated by the Parish Priest of Saint Anthony’s Parish Umunachi, Isiala Mbano, Reverend Father Charles Ekwonwunu.

Exchanging marital vows, the couple Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ohalete promised to love, cherish and stay committed to each other, pointing out that their relationship of over five years have been filled with love and beautiful memories.

 

They appreciated God for making their union a dream come through.

Earlier in a Homily a visiting priest Reverend Father Evans Igbubu said for a marriage to be enjoyed it must be built on love, while advising the couple to always hold unto God.

 

The holy matrimony was immediately followed with a grand reception at community school field Ezike, Nneato Nweafor Osuachara Isiala Mbano, where guests were entertained.

Speaking to the ABS in separate interviews the groom’s parents Chief and Lolo Theodora Ohalete expressed joy in the turn out of the event and appreciated all who spared some time to celebrate with them as they poured parental blessings on their children.

 

On their part, the bride’s parents Chief and Lolo Chidi Ohaegbulem who were also filed with joy, thanked God for the success of the event while praying that the union will be a point of reference for good.

 

Some of the guests who spoke to the ABS took turn to congratulate the couple and prayed for peace in their union.

 

Exchange of weeding rings, cutting of the cake and nuptial dance, featured at the ceremony.
