The remains of the late Mrs. Nwanneka Udeh have been laid to rest at her hometown, Nnewichi, Nnewi North Local Government Area.
The late Mrs. Udeh, who died at the age of seventy-five, was survived by her children, grandchildren and other relatives.
The burial ceremony, which kicked off at her husband’s compound at Abubor Nnewichi, was officiated by the resident priest, Christ Holy Church Oraifite, Reverend Samuel Nweke, where the deceased worshipped until her death.
In his sermon titled ‘My Soul’ the vicar in charge, Christ Holy Church Illah District, Delta State, Reverend Agustine Okonkwo said many people desire their soul to do good but pressure and challenges of life denied their soul of doing the right thing and encouraged Christians to always ask for the grace of God.
Reverend Nweke implored the deceased family to hold unto the good legacies of their late mother especially in areas of her service to God and humanity.
Speaking to the ABS, the General Overseer, Eden Life Bible Church, Reverend Barn Chiwuba, said as children of God there is hope after life on earth.
He encouraged the children of the deceased to hold onto their faith and find consolation in the word of God.
In separate interviews, the children of late Mrs. Udeh, including Pastor Okwuchukwu Udeh and Mrs. Amarachi Okafor, said their mother was a role model and accommodating woman, who spent her life in service to God and humanity.
They appreciated all, who came to sympathize with them and prayed for God’s grace on the family.
The burial ceremony climaxed with condolence visits by friends and well-wishers.
