The Chairman of Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board, ASUBEB, Dr. Vera Nwadinobi, has called on headteachers and teachers in the state to ensure they collect their Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs, before the February fifth deadline announced by Independent National Electoral commission, INEC.
Dr. Nwadinobi, who made the call while speaking with news men in her office in Awka, urged the headteachers and teachers to use their voting strength to retain the good governance being experienced in the state during the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
The ASUBEB Chairman said that civil servants, especially teachers in Anambra State, are lucky to have Mr. Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo at the helm of affairs in the state.
She recalled that within eight months in office, the Governor recruited over five thousand teachers, two hundred and fifty health workers, and is constructing over six hundred kilometers of roads, among other things he is doing to make Anambra State a livable and prosperous homeland.
