The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has condoled with the Ubah family of Otolo Nnewi over the death of their patriarch, late Comrade Peter Ubah.
The Governor attended the funeral mass which was held at St Peter’s Cleavers Catholic Church, Otolo Nnewi.
The Late Ubah who died at the age of eighty-two was father to the Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Mrs. Amaka Obi.
The Governor who described late Ubah as one who lived a good life, tasked the family to sustain his good legacies.
Earlier in a homily, the Chaplain, St. Luke’s Chaplaincy, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, Reverend Father Anthony Okonkwo whose message centered on good name is better than riches’, said that anyone who loves and follows Jesus Christ understands basic life principles, and urged the family to sustain the good name of their father and live in love and unity.
The senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, former Commissioner for Basic Education, Prof. Kate Omenugha, Members of Anambra State Executive Council, Transition Committee Chairmen, families, friends and well-wishers attended the funeral mass.
