The Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba South Local Government Area, Chief Neville Uchendu has described Governor Chukwuma Soludo as a real solution to the plights of the citizenry in view of the good governance he has provided for Ndi Anambra in less than one year in office.
Speaking during the flag off of the nine point four-kilometer Ezira-Umuomaku-Enugwu Umuonyia-Achina road by Governor Soludo, Chief Uchendu commended the Governor for remembering Orumba South in his road construction, adding that the road is one of the most strategic roads in the state, which when completed, would ease the evacuation of farm produce to urban areas as well as increase the revenue profile of the people of the area.
The Orumba South Council Boss assured Governor Soludo of continuous support of the people of the area and called on politicians in Orumba South irrespective of their political affiliations to join hands with the Governor in moving the state to a greater height.
Chief Uchendu urged Ndi Orumba South to reciprocate Governor Soludo’s developmental achievements in the area, by supporting his administration and remaining law abiding at all times.
In his speech, a former Anambra State Deputy Governor, Chief Emeka Sibeudu thank Governor Soludo for flagging off the construction of the Ezira-Umuomaku-Enugwu Umuonyia-Achina Road and assured the Governor that Ndi Orumba South would ensure strict monitoring and supervision of all projects by his government in the area.
Also speaking,a former Chairman of Orumba South Council Area, Chief Cyprain Okereke expressed satisfaction with the cordial working relationship existing between the Council Chairman, and Governor Soludo and prayed to God to strengthen them for more exploits.
Some stakeholders in Orumba South including the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Mr. Obinna Nwankwo, the Commissioner for Agriculture,Dr.Foster Ihejiofor as well as the traditional ruler of Owerre-Ezukala,Igwe Thomas Ogbonnaya among others,lauded Governor Soludo for his interest in the overall development of Orumba South.
